Alto saxophonist and composer Travis Sullivan is best known as the leader of The Bjorkestra, a jazz orchestra that performs his arrangements of pop diva Bjork. Now he’s shifting gears with the Travis Sullivan Quartet, showcasing his original jazz works with a spectacular ensemble that features Mike Eckroth on piano, Marco Panascia on bass, and Brian Fishler on drums. This performance, the group’s second at Cornelia Street, will be in celebration of the TSQ’s debut CD, “New Directions”.
