We like call them, “Nu-Voices.” At this time, we’re honored to present to you “Afro Blue” and their latest recording “Freedom In Song.” This is the first of many upcoming new recordings by new and creative artists.
Afro Blue, Freedom In Song
Since their inception, this dynamic jazz choir has quickly gained national attention. Afro Blue was formed in the spring of 2002 is Howard University’s premier vocal jazz ensemble. Afro Blue has performed at many prestigious venues in and around Washington, DC including The Library of Congress. Freedom In Song is a double-CD compilation of songs recorded by Afro Blue between the years of 2002-2008.
