Dimitris Pantelias was born in 1973 in Athens(Greece). In 1998 he moves to the Netherlands in order to continue his musical education at the conservatory of Utrecht. Pantelias scored 7 original compositions in the modern jazz idiom, with open and dynamic playing throughout. Floating vibraphone and guitar harmonies, odd rhythm grooves, solid saxophone melodies and improvisations are the ingredients of this first cd by the Greek saxophonist. He performs frequently at clubs and bars in Athens & all over Greece with his band Dimitris Pantelias Group, the septet Jazznovation, the sextet Minimal, in duet with Stelios Paraskevas on guitar and with dj’s. Recently was released by the “Sound of everything” the debut CD of Jazznovation (2008) and his collaboration with dj & producer Zac F in the cd “a night at the port“(2007). – CDBaby.com

Trumpeter, vocalist, percussionist and composer Pete Rodriguez has played with some of the best musicians in the world, including many of Latin music’s luminaries, such as Celia Cruz, Johnny Pacheco, La India and Tito Puente, including singing on Puente’s Grammy and Latin Grammy winning album, Mambo Birdland. Pete is the son of Pete “El Conde” Rodriguez, a music legend in the Latin music world who gave “Lil’ Pete” the responsibility of directing his 12-piece orchestra while also playing the trumpet and singing. – CDBaby.com
