Yellowjackets are pleased to announce that they have been awarded Grammy Nominations in two categories for 2009 including BEST CONTEMPORARY JAZZ ALBUM for Lifecycle, Featuring Mike Stern, and BEST INSTRUMENTAL COMPOSER for Russell Ferrante for his composition “Claire’s Closet” on Lifecycle.

The first Yellowjackets recording in 15 years to feature a guitar player, Lifecycle illustrates a kind of energy that comes from musicianship and friendship combined.
