Domenic Landolf - New Brighton

Domenic Landolf -|- New Brighton – [Pirouet Records, 2010]

At the heart of this trio’s work lie the pleasure of playing and the high-quality interplay between its three musicians. Subtle differences in volume and energy levels, as well as alternation between density and transparency, between lightning-quick releases into musical freedom and fragmented frugality are among the creative means used by this extraordinarily spontaneous group. The group also makes use of a wide range of sounds, from the alto flute to bassclarinet and glockenspiel. —Myspace.com Continue reading →
