Kobo Concept -][- PUNK ZEN – [Sound Nexus, 2010]

Modern piano jazz trio based in Paris. All original compositions influenced by punk, rock and pop music. Kobo Concept was created by three young Parisian jazz musicians in 2007.

The band tries to take some punk rock energy into the classic jazz piano/bass/drums formula, yet retaining the lesson of all the great trios in the history of Jazz music. Intensity, « in your face » sound and great melodic sense co-exist in Kobo Concept’s compositions.

The album was produced in 2010, and the band is currently touring in France and Italy. –Album Notes | CDBaby
