Eric Reed, Something Beautiful

Eric Reed -][- Something Beautiful -(MP3)- [Wj3 Records, 2011]

Eric Reed, who was named in the “Rising Star, Piano category in this year’s Downbeat magazine’s 59th Annual International Critics Poll, will release Something Beautiful on WJ3 Records on October 18. This collection marks Reed’s 20th CD as a leader- a milestone for a musician of Reed’s young age.

“It’s nice to be able to listen to 20 projects and hear the same person on each recording, but with steady growth, says Reed. “Each is an aural documentation to remind me of tender moments or daunting challenges that took place around the time of each session.
