Uneasy Dreams is the New York debut album of jazz flute player and composer Christian Artmann. The album features Jeff Hirshfield (drums), Johannes Weidenmueller (bass), Rubens Salles (piano) as well as special guests Elena McEntire (voice) and Luiz Claudio (percussion).

The music is rooted in contemporary jazz, with accents from Europe, Brazil and West Africa. Coltrane-influenced post bop takes turns with cinematic ballads… Ethnic grooves meet meditative explorations… Intricate arrangements alternate with extended jazz solos and collective improv.
