The Zürcher Daniel Schenker (born 1963) was first trumpet lessons at the age of 10. After studying computer science at ETH Zurich, further training and courses by Bert Joris, Tom Harrell, Wynton Marsalis, and Malte Burba. 1995 Professional diploma of the Swiss Jazz school in Bern. In 1997 several New York stays. Daniel is Schenker since the mid of 1980s years sought after sideman in many Swiss musical formations, participation in over 50 CD/LP productions.
