The Joe Locke and Geoffrey Keezer Group’s Signing, has kicked Locke’s career into yet a higher gear. Signing, the powerful follow-up to the highly acclaimed Live In Seattle, is one of three Locke projects planned for release over the next year with Motema Music, each designed to demonstrate a different facet of Locke’s unerring lyricism, unfettered imagination, and show-stopping virtuosity. Press and fans alike have stopped and taken notice, finding themselves under the mallet maestro’s spell.

Mike Balter Mallets (Locke’s representative) introduces the ‘Joe Locke Series’, featuring three types of mallets: Quick-Fly, Crossover and Deep Tone, capturing Locke’s distinct sound and full range of expression.

The Joe Locke/Geoffrey Keezer Group will be one of this year’s headlining acts at the PASIC convention in Austin, TX, with an evening performance on November 2nd, 2012. The event will also see the launch of Joe Locke’s new vibraphone and pickup system, developed by Malletech in close collaboration with the artist. Locke’s mallet representative, Mike Balter, will introduce the ‘Joe Locke Series’ signature mallets, also featured in a multi-issue advertisement campaign in Jazz Times.
