Quote: [John 3:16-18] – “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

[1 John 1:9-10] – 9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.”

“The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.” —Martin Luther King, Jr.

“My music is the spiritual expression of what I am – my faith, my knowledge, my being … When you begin to see the possibilities of music, you desire to do something really good for people, to help humanity free itself from its hangups … I want to speak to their souls.” —John Coltrane

  17. Hello,

My name is Alex Hoffman and I’m the tenor sax player from the recent Brian Lynch “Unsung Heroes” record that you reviewed on your blog. I was wondering if I could have your address so I could send you my own debut recording as a leader on Smalls Records, for which Brian Lynch was a consultant. Thank you for giving such kind attention to our music and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Best,
    Alex

  18. Rob, what a beautiful site you have produced with both your words and the visual dynamics. I look forward to checking it out even further, within the archives, etc.

Is my understanding correct that you will no longer be making entries? I hope not! But if it’s true, I hope that it is for reasons that are not unfortunate, and I wish you all the best in all of your future endeavors. We need more people like you.

    All the best!
