A native Virginian, Wyatt lives in the city in which he was born. He studied art at Virginia State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Art, and Design.

Wyatt believes his technique and style are most influenced by Klimpt and other impressionists. He starts his paintings by applying layers of acrylics on paper or canvas and then uses his own unique weathering technique to reveal various shades and textures. Finally, he adds details via stamping, pen and ink, and dry brushing. -[Excerpt | Bio-Aviscafineart.com]

Art, Carl Karni-Bain

Greeting’s Flux viewers, I’m elated to be with you as we kick off the second week of March to showcase a phenomenal mixed-media piece by artist Carl Karni-Bain “bai”. Appropiately titled “Mondrian Mask,” this stunning abstract piece underscores the various delicate, stained and intricate textures displayed in this image left me speechless the moment I first saw it. In fact, I’m impressed most by the “abstract art idiom” this style is my personal favorite from the global canvas of art. I hope you enjoy it! —Rob Young | Urban Flux Media

Heavily influenced by music, his series of paintings entitled, “The Colour of Jazz”, although contemporary, tends to remind the viewer of a time when jazz was paramount. -[Biography]
