Pianist Frank Caruso played with the US Navy Jazz Band the FRANK CARUSO: Piano Performed with the Commodores in Washington D.C., and was a featured performer at the White House birthday party for Duke Ellington. Since then, he has appeared with many well-known musicians, such as Luciano Pavarotti, Henry Mancini, Louis Bellson, Maynard Ferguson, the Count Basie Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. His most recent albums “Heart of the City,” in collaboration with saxophonist Mark Colby, and “Songs from the Kingdom of Jazz,” with saxophonist Jim Massoth, have all received wide critical acclaim. He has recently co-written with Karl Mollison a jazz piano method book, “Piano Improvisation—A Powerful Practical System.”

The Latin GRAMMY® award-winner’s impressive resumé includes performances with jazz giants such as Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Bill Evans, Gerry Mulligan and Benny Goodman.
