Truth Revolution Records is proud to introduce our newest artist Sarah Elizabeth Charles! 2012 has proven to be a year of success for TRR in the partnerships and releases we’ve accomplished, and Sarah Charles in no exception. This month she signed as an official TRR artist and we couldn’t be happier, especially on the cusp of her upcoming release, “RED”. This album comes after her successful release with Manner Effect and she’s kept the momentum going by putting together her Quartet. The S.E. Charles Quartet, composed of Sarah (vocals), Jesse Elder (piano), Burniss Earl Travis (bass), and John Davis (drums), has been together for two years working toward the sound that they have discovered today: one rooted in a musically intuitive nature and strong personal connections. It’s a new day in music, some agree, some may not. As we move through the axiomatic wave of sonic transitions musically we meet an abundant of charismatic new voices along the way. Born in Montreuil, France this self-taught violinist & composer Scott Tixier debuts with an extraordinary recording fittingly titled “Brooklyn Bazaar” on Sunnyside Records.
