Phillippe Saisse, DORIAN’S FIRST CHRISTMAS

Philippe Saisse -][- Dorian’s First Christmas –Mp3– [Dorian 2000 Music, 2012]

Rick Braun, SWINGIN’ SNOW

Sherman Oaks, CA (8 October 2012): As cool as a winter’s eve, as warm as a holiday dinner with loved ones, and as beautiful as an exquisitely ornamented Christmas tree , Rick Braun’s “Swingin’ In The Snow” is a celebration of “the most wonderful time of the year” featuring some of the contemporary jazz star’s talented friends. Braun produced the elegant 11-song set that will be released by Brauntosoarus Music on October 16th. The merry band of musical elves who joined the trumpeter-vocalist in his workshop include Mindi Abair, David Benoit, Gregg Karukas, Dave Koz, Philippe Saisse, Kirk Whalum, Peter White, a string quartet and a gospel choir led by R&B crooner Jeffrey Osborne. Braun will donate one dollar from each album sale to the Autism Society of America. Continue reading →

NEW YORK, NY, Dec 09, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) — KOCH Records is set to release a new album by songwriter, arranger, producer and keyboardist extraordinaire Philippe Saisse. His new album, “At World’s Edge,” will be released on March 24, 2009.

“At World’s Edge” sets to music a personal odyssey that started when Saisse began recording the project in his basement studio in Scarsdale, NY. A flood that resulted in the near-total destruction of his workplace and his creative psyche eventually led to a transcontinental upheaval, as Philippe moved his family to Los Angeles. He says, “My life-altering relocation was the inspiration for this album. I dreamed of reuniting with the musicians that had made my past efforts such an incredible musical experience.” Upon taking up residence on the West Coast, Saisse set out to do just that.
