Born in Providence, Rhode Island, I began playing piano at a young age. Starting out playing blues, pop and classical repertoire I found jazz when I began high school and I’ve since made that my focus of sorts. I began to study improvisation and composition with famed jazz educator Hal Crook when I was 17, and soon after I was awarded a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music. Since then I’ve had the opportunity to perform or record with musicians such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Gretchen Parlato, Myron Walden, Gilad Hekselman, Kendrick Scott, Mark Giuliana, Ferenc Nemeth and Hal Crook among many others. -[Excerpt | About]-
